PACKAGING THAT WORKS FOR YOUR PRODUCT
Cable Boxes
With every detail considered.
Packaging around the finished cable coil
Cable length does not directly determine carton dimensions. Custom cable boxes follow the finished coil, connectors, ties and wrapping used in the packing process. A thicker cable or larger connector can change the required depth even when the stated length is unchanged. Provide a packed reference and identify the orientation you want customers to see on opening.
Holders and connector placement
A paperboard holder can organize a coil, while connectors may need separate clearance. Share the coiling method and any bend-sensitive areas so the arrangement can be reviewed. Retention should not rely on forcing a connector into an undersized opening. The complete loading and removal process belongs in the packaging brief alongside the outer carton size.
Materials, handling and the complete shipping pack
Paperboard, rigid board and corrugated directions can be discussed against the packed weight, presentation and delivery method. Describe device sensitivity, bags, inserts and any protective layers. Standard printed board should not be assumed to provide anti-static properties, moisture protection or verified cushioning. If a specific performance property is needed, include it in the brief for material review and confirmation. An outer shipping carton may be required in addition to the retail pack.
Printed cable boxes and artwork planning
Plan your supplied logo, product name, model identification and barcode around the usable panels. Keep small text away from folds, closures and cut edges. Supply final approved specifications and any authorized marks rather than relying on placeholder mockup text. Different device versions may need separate artwork or insert layouts. Provide quantities by version and review the proof, dimensions, material and pack arrangement together before confirming production.
Define the cable coil and connector arrangement
Measure the cable in its intended coil, band or primary bag, including both connectors. Specify length variants and how product identification is displayed. Review coil retention and removal in a sample. These are packaging cartons for cables; dimensions follow the packed accessory rather than cable length alone. Provide quantities by format and artwork, your US destination ZIP code and required stock date so specifications and delivery planning can be reviewed together.
Prepare your packaging quotation.
Describe bend-sensitive areas and the coiling method used in packing.
Share inside dimensions, quantity, artwork versions and your delivery destination. Tell us about the filled product, any inserts and the packing method. If a specification is still undecided, describe the requirement so it can be reviewed with your quotation.

PLAN YOUR PACKAGING
Compare coiled cables and charger bundles
Include connectors, ties and primary sleeves in the packed dimensions. A nominal cable length does not define the carton footprint.
A holder for the packed coil
Show connector positions and how the coil is released. Review the holder with the actual ties and wraps used by the packing team. Plan cable holders and inserts.
A cable paired with a charger
List the charger and cable as separate components with their own positions before choosing a common carton. Review charger bundle packaging.
Consider the construction.
A shallow folding carton can contain a coiled cable with a paperboard holder or separate compartment.
Find the right fit.
Provide the finished coil size, connector dimensions and any ties or wrapping.
Make the details count.

BEFORE YOU BEGIN
A few helpful answers.
Not sure about a detail? Select “Need guidance” in your enquiry.
What cable dimensions should I send?
Send the finished packed coil diameter and depth, plus both connectors and any tie or wrap. Cable length alone cannot determine the box size.
What should I include in my quote request?
Share inside dimensions, quantity, packed product details, delivery destination and your preferred material and finish. Attach a reference or artwork where available.
How are pricing and timing confirmed?
Pricing and schedules depend on the agreed specification, quantity, artwork and destination. Confirm final terms before placing an order.
What affects the price of custom cable boxes?
Dimensions, stock, structure, insert complexity, quantity, artwork versions, print coverage, finishes and destination affect the quotation. Share the complete packed product brief.
Does the box automatically provide anti-static protection?
No. Ordinary printed packaging does not establish anti-static performance. State any specific protection requirement so suitable materials and the complete packing arrangement can be reviewed.
Does a longer cable always need a larger carton?
The coil diameter, thickness and connectors determine the packed space. Compare each final arrangement rather than choosing a carton from cable length alone.
